It is worth noting that my existing autosave disappeared as a result of using this, so make sure any games are properly saved first. For XP, you should be able to use the LINKD equivalent to mklink /D. These instructions will work for any version of Windows after XP. It turns out, Windows has this capability as well. Anyone familiar with Linux is likely familiar with the concept of soft links. I still use Dropbox(though any comparable cloud storage service would serve just as well), but after it is set up, no manual transfers are required. I'm not just talking about plopping saves into Dropbox and grabbing/resaving them when you need them, that's far too clunky. Luckily, you can sync saves between computers fairly easily. Banished lacks cloud-save capability, but even if it had it, I've had problems with Steam cloud either not working at all, or somehow one computer overwrites what is in the cloud saves.
